As a damaged and bleached skin repair brand, we have some products that have been curated as remedies for bleached skin. A combination of these products works to infuse the skin with healing properties to enable the skin to recover properly from whatever damage that may have occurred. Certain levels of damage like Exogenous ochronosis for instance, cannot be completely reversed as there would be residues in the skin and the patient can only get a fraction of their healthy skin back – 60 to 80%.
The bleached skin repair process could be hard on patients, as it is a psychologically and emotionally draining process. It has high financial implications too. First time users who may have used products containing bleaching agents - often disguised as lightening or toning agents - or used products containing chemical exfoliants leading to a compromised skin barrier, may experience a couple of reactions like itching, steroidal purge in form of acne or rashes, skin tags, going several shades darker for melanin restoration, amongst others, when they transition to our nature-based remedies. though we cannot determine for a fact the extent of this purge, as it is largely dependent on the extent of damage done to the skin, the kind of chemical agents used, the peculiarity of the patient’s skin, and underlying health factors.
